About Spatial Science Solution for Sub-Saharan Africa

We are a UK-based non-profit organisation dedicated to harnessing the power of geospatial science to address environmental challenges and promote sustainable development across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Our Story

From Vision to Action

Spatial Science Solution for Sub-Saharan Africa was founded with a singular vision: to bridge the gap between cutting-edge geospatial technology and the communities that need it most. Based in the United Kingdom, our organisation was established to leverage the expertise and resources available in one of the world's leading centres for spatial science research.

Recognising that Sub-Saharan Africa faces some of the most pressing environmental challenges of our time—from deforestation and water scarcity to climate change impacts and unsustainable urbanisation—we set out to create solutions that are both scientifically rigorous and practically applicable at the grassroots level.

Our journey began with partnerships with local communities, research institutions, and government agencies across multiple African nations. Today, we continue to expand our reach, developing innovative geospatial tools that empower stakeholders at every level to make informed decisions about environmental management and sustainable development.
